What is 3D Printing

3D printing is a technology that lets you create a physical object from a digital model. It all starts with a 3D model created in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software. The model is then “sliced” in to hundreds or even thousands of small horizontal layers. The new file is then sent to a 3D printer and that’s where the magic happens!
